Debut novel now finalised

Yeehaa :) My debut time slip MS is now scrubbed for grammar, syntax and plot continuity errors, and I'm now working on my blurb and synopsis.

I'll start pitching to literary agentsby Christmas 2026.

More to follow :)

With ID Audio narrating 'The Language Puzzle'

A couple of images from my week in London, narrating 'The Language Puzzle' by Steven Mithen. Done in just over 4 days with the wonderful folk at ID Audio https://idaudio.co.uk/ Looking forward to working with ID Audio again if a vocally suitable project comes up - and if, of course, I pass the audition 😊

Delighted to have achieved the final list - that's the top 4%, in this case for best male audiobook narrator. That makes several finalist nominations since 2021. Let's see if i can clinch 'winner' in 2025 :)

HIGH PRAISE FROM AUDIOFILE MAGAZINE

HIGH PRAISE FROM AUDIOFILE MAGAZINE Honoured to have my narration praised by the audiobook industry's AudioFile, of 'Operation Ark', the account of how Pen Farthing rescued 61 veterinery staff and their families, and a number of cats and dogs from Kabul in 2021: ' Hutchinson narrates with passion and purpose. He skillfully reports an enormous number of events and the extensive detail accompanying them with a light handed, positive energy that maintains the listener's engagement.' I'm soon hoping to be recording Pen's first book 'One Dog at a Time' published in 2009 and a Sunday Times best seller. Watch this space :)
